Transport Crashes Into Ditch In Enniskillen

Petrolia fire officials say one person was taken to hospital with unknown injuries after a transport truck crashed into  a ditch in Enniskillen.

Lambton OPP and firefighters responded to Rokeby Line just east of Mandaumin Rd. shortly before 5am on Tuesday.

Police say icy road conditions are believed to be a factor in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police say the truck has been removed but, after an assessment by the Ministry of the Environment, Rokeby Line between Mandaumin Rd. and Fairweather Rd. is expected to remain closed until 10pm.
