Pt. Edward Receives Gaming Payment

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has issued third-quarter non-tax gaming revenue payments to communities hosting casinos across the province.

Pt. Edward is getting nearly $570,000 for the period from October to December of last year.

Since the waterfront casino opened in April 2000 the village has received over $39.9-million from the OLG.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
