Progressive Auto Sales Supports Charities

Progressive Auto Sales has donated $3,500 to three local charities following a successful campaign in support of local food banks.

Staff say 140 people participated in their "Test Drive. Food Drive."

Funds raised will be split between Sarnia's Inn of the Good Shepherd, the Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul.

The initiative was spearheaded by sales staff at the dealership; Kris Dougherty, Pete Gruening, Steve McDonald, Justin Campbell and Bob Partington.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
