Centennial Hall In Need Of Upgrades

Centennial Hall in Watford is in need of substantial upgrades.

Warwick Township Mayor Todd Case says a recent engineering inspection of the building found the bones are in good shape, but the interior needs refurbishing.

"We're going to have a special development meeting February 23 and we're going to add in a piece about Centennial Hall," he says. "Council, as a whole, needs to discuss the report and decide where to go from here on in."

Case says there are a couple of options on the table.

"We could spend the money on the building, we could build a new building or we could look at something altogether different," says Case.

He says Centennial Hall, built in 1967, does not meet accessibility codes and needs to be upgraded in other areas as well.
