McCormack Funeral Home in Sarnia says it's the first funeral provider in Sarnia-Lambton to offer cremation services for your pet.
Owner Cameron McCormack says he'd been mulling over the idea for some time.
"To me, it's a natural synergy," he says. "People grieve when they lose their pets, every bit as much as they do when a family member passes away."
Pet cremation can cost from $99 to $645, depending on the weight of your pet and the type of service you decide upon.
McCormack says he's already had over 8,000 hits on their Facebook page and one client.
