A dispute over property ownership led to an assault late Tuesday afternoon in Sarnia.
City police responded to a disturbance at a home located in the south end of Lansdowne Ave. just before 5pm, and discovered a broken window.
Constable John Sottosanti says the investigation revealed a 22-year-old man, who had left the scene, was stabbed.
"The victim was located and transported to local hospital for medical care that was non-life threatening," says Sottosanti.
He says a 25-year-old Sarnia man, who resides at the home, was arrested and has been charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
The investigation is continuing.
