Four Suspects Sought After Robbery Interrupted In Alvinston

Lambton OPP are looking for four suspects after a robbery in progress at a Brooke-Alvinston business was interrupted early Sunday morning.

Police responded just after 4am on April 2, to the 3200-block of River St.  They were told four unknown suspects had forced their way into the commercial property and had begun removing merchandise.

Police say one of the suspects became violent toward the owner of the property who had interrupted them, but no injuries were sustained.

The suspects fled in a waiting vehicle and despite extensive police patrols in the area they were not located.

The Lambton OPP Crime Unit and the West Region Forensic Identification Unit were called in to help with the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
