Conservation Authority Issues Updated Water Safety Statement

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority is again warning the public about high water and localized flooding.

Officials say flows are high in all watercourses with up to 20 mm of rain having fallen over 24 hours and another 20-40 mm possible Wednesday and Thursday.

Residents are reminded to avoid swollen rivers and streams because the banks are slippery and the water is cold and fast moving.
