Major Road Repairs Planned In Warwick Township

Some major road repairs are included in Warwick Township's $2.8-million capital budget.

The township will spend $791,000 on a major infrastructure project on Ontario St. and McGregor St. in Watford, which will include sewer and water line repairs and a complete road reconstruction.

Replacing Bridge #6 on Hickory Creek Line will cost $270,000.

Another $320,000 will be spent on repairing F-category roads, those most in need of repairs.

The municipality's share of a $750,000 new water boosting pumping station, about $250,000, is also included in the capital budget, with the remainder split by upper tier governments.
