Volunteers Needed For Clean Up Day

The third annual community parks Clean-Up Day is being held from 10am-12:30pm on Saturday, April 22.

Sarnia Parks and Recreation Coordinator Rachel Veilleux invites you to organize a team and pre-register at www.sarniagives.com

"One of our community partners is NOVA Chemicals, so when you register, you'll be supplied with clean-up materials which includes gloves, garbage bags, paint, rakes as well as safety information and first aid kits," says Veilleux. "It's a great way for high school students to get in their community volunteer hours and those who pre-register can take part in a free BBQ afterwards at Canatara Park provided by the After Hours Rotary Club Of Sarnia Lambton."

The event is part of Earth Week.
