Fire Destroys Camlachie Home

A two-storey brick home and three-car attached garage in Plympton-Wyoming was destroyed by fire Wednesday night.

Fire Chief Steve Clemens says firefighters responded to the two alarm blaze at 3551 Victoria St. in Old Errol Village at 11:44pm.

He says the house was fully engulfed upon arrival.

"Without insurance estimates at this time we're pegging it at over a $600,000 loss," says Clemens.

Chief Clemens says everyone in the home made it out safely and no injuries are reported.

Lambton OPP also attended the scene and say two vehicles were destroyed in the fire as well.

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
