Bluewater Anglers Club Derby

The Bluewater Anglers' annual club spring fishing derby is set for Saturday, April 22.

Board Member Paul Heckley says it's a great kick off to the fishing season.

The boundaries range from Fawn Island up to Lexington, Michigan, and Grand Bend on the Canadian side.

There are five categories of fish; chinook salmon, lake, rainbow and brown trout, and walleye.

Prizes are awarded to the five largest fish caught on boat and from the shore.

Members are free, and non-members are $10. Tickets can be purchased at The Outdoorsman and Buck's Bait until 5:30pm April 21.
