Theft From Lougar Ave. Compound (VIDEO)

Sarnia police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in a theft from a fenced off compound in the 1300-block of Lougar Ave.

Police say it happened sometime between 10pm April 19, and 1:30am April 20.

A male suspect gained entry by cutting a hole in the fence and removed the catalytic converter from a pickup truck and stole some tools.

He's described as about 5'10'' tall, and was wearing a camouflaged jacket, light coloured khaki pants, dark shoes, and a backpack with fluorescent tape down the middle of it.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sarnia police or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
