Body Of Missing Man Recovered

City police say the body of a 32-year-old Sarnia area man, missing since March 26, was found in the Detroit River.

Local police were contacted by Wyandotte Michigan police April 28, 2017 and told that the body of Karol Frej had been recovered by the Wayne County Marine Division.

Foul play is not suspected and further information will not be released.

The Sarnia Police Service thanks everyone who helped in the investigation and offers condolences to family and friends of Mr. Frej.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
