Premier Wynne To Make Rare Stop In Sarnia

Ontario's premier is set to make a rare visit to the Sarnia area Friday with around 200 senior business and policy leaders in town for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting.

Kathleen Wynne will take part in a "fireside chat" at the Holiday Inn in Point Edward over the noon hour. Her itinerary includes three other events during the afternoon.

A closed meeting with Lambton County mayors and Warden Bill Weber is set for 1:20pm at the Hampton Inn. She's scheduled to visit Integra Technologies on Confederation St. in Sarnia to take part in an announcement at 2:30pm and will head to Lambton College for a closed roundtable discussion with the Chemical Association of Canada at 3:45pm.

Premier Wynne starts her day in London at the University of Western Ontario where she's to make an announcement at 9:20am.

Wynne was dogged by protesters including wind turbine opponents in previous visits to Sarnia-Lambton in 2015 and 2013.
