McHappy Day A Huge Success

Sarnia residents ate their share of Big Mac's Wednesday.

This year's McHappy Day raised a total of $26,000 locally, far surpassing last year's total of $19,000.

The Huron House Boys Home will receive $25,000 and $1,000 will go to Ronald McDonald House.

Huron House Executive Director Don Adam says they need a new roof, and will direct some money to their operational deficit.

There are 13 boys living at the Home in Bright's Grove.

This year marked the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Canadian-born McHappy Day.
