Salmon Derby Leaderboard Unchanged

Strong north winds kept anglers off the water again on Day 9 of the Bluewater Anglers Salmon Derby. Only 1 fish was entered Saturday at the Sarnia weigh station. There are no changes to the leader board.

Salmon. - Scott Dezort of Sarnia in the Trout - Boat category with a 7.20 lb. Rainbow Trout. - Tyler Pavli of Sarnia in the Trout - Shore category with a 14.56 lb. Brown Trout. - Justin Tadgell of Grand Bend in the Lake Trout category with a 20.80 lb. Lake Trout. - Clayton Rennie of Sarnia in the Walleye category with a 8.94 lb. Walleye.

The Daily Big Fish winner is Bob Pell of Red Deer, Alberta with a 6.16 lb. Brown Trout.

The Daily Draw Prize winner in Sarnia is Bob Pell of Red Deer, Alberta. There was no daily draw winner in Port Franks.

Today is the last day of the Bluewater Anglers Salmon Derby. The weigh stations close at 3:00 PM sharp.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
