Highway 40 in Sarnia (BlackburnNews.com photo by Josh Boyce)An Ajax man lost his vehicle for seven days for allegedly stunt driving in St. Clair Township over the weekend.
Around 8:30 Friday night, Lambton OPP were conducting RADAR enforcement in the area of Hwy. 40 just north of Petrolia Line. Police say a vehicle was spotted travelling north at 145 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
A 28-year-old driver was charged with racing a motor vehicle and his licence suspended for seven days.
He's scheduled to appear in Sarnia court June 9.
