Weapons Stolen In Daytime Break And Enter

A significant daytime break and enter in Lambton Shores is under investigation by the OPP.

Lambton OPP say Friday, May 5, someone broke into a home in the 9400-block of Klondyke Rd. in Lambton Shores between 9am and 4:30pm.

Thieves made off with about $10,000 worth of property including a camouflage Mossberg 20 gauge pump action shotgun and a Winchester Savage .300 bolt action rifle.

The West Region OPP Forensic Identification Unit is assisting with the investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
