Trio Charged In Drug Bust

A man and two women face drug trafficking and weapons charges following a bust by Sarnia police and OPP.

Just before 2am Thursday, the Lambton OPP Street Crime Unit and the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit executed a search warrant at a Brock St. home.

Officers seized a variety of drugs including morphine, methamphetamine, and hydromorphone with a total estimated street value of $1,600. Three edged weapons were also seized and a quantity of cash.

A 44-year-old John Peter Dobbie and 41-year-old Tiffany Graham, both of Sarnia, and 26-year-old Leanna Vansickle of Enniskillen Township face various charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
