Lambton County has hired a familiar face to fill a vacant senior executive position.
Stéphane Thiffeault will return to his old job as the county's corporate services general manager/county solicitor/county clerk June 12.
Thiffeault previously served in that position from 2007 to 2012.
He returns to the county from ARLANXEO Canada Inc., formerly known as Lanxess in Sarnia, where he spent the past five year's as the company's senior legal counsel, chief privacy officer and compliance officer.
Thiffeault replaces David Cribbs, who left the position in April to become County Manager in Norfolk.
