Man In London Hospital After Being Stabbed

A 27-year-old man is in London hospital after an overnight stabbing near Mitton St. and Wellington St. in Sarnia.

Sarnia police say the victim was stabbed during an attempted theft around 2am Tuesday. He was taken to Bluewater Health and then transferred to London in stable condition.

A 27-year-old man was arrested without incident around 6am in the 100-block of Brock St. S.

He's facing charges of attempted murder, armed robbery, and breach of probation. He was held for a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
