Equipment Worth Thousands Stolen From Compound

Over $20,000 worth of equipment was taken from a Plympton-Wyoming business sometime overnight Sunday.

Lambton OPP Constable Travis Parsons says thieves gained entry to the compound in the 400-block of Plympton St. by cutting a hole in a wire fence.

He says a variety of chain saws, climbing tools and safety equipment were taken.

"Lambton County OPP is asking that if anyone has information regarding the person or persons involved in this break and enter, or information as to the location of the stolen property to contact the Ontario Provincial Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477," says Parsons.

He says a Lambton OPP Scenes of Crime Officer also attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
