UPDATE: Motorcycle Driver Remains In Serious Condition

Sarnia police say a 27-year-old man remains in serious, but non-life threatening condition following a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.

Police say at about 1:15am on Sunday, police, fire and EMS responded to the area of Michigan Ave. between Indian Rd. N and O'Rae Ave. They say the male driver of the motorcycle lost control and struck a pole on Michigan Ave.

The driver was initially transported to Bluewater Health and then transferred to Victoria Hospital in London where he continues to receive treatment. A 26-year-old female passenger was also taken to Bluewater Health with minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
