UPDATE: Heifer Caper Solved

The case of the high-footing heifers has been solved.

Sarnia police have tracked down the owner of two Holstein calves that were roaming freely Monday evening.

Police received a call after the two black and white calves were spotted in the area of Telfer Rd. south of London Line. Officers checked with nearby farms to try to determine where they came from, but no one was missing any livestock in the area.

The calves were housed in a nearby barn until the owners were tracked down.
