Environment Canada had issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the entire Sarnia-Lambton region Saturday afternoon, after a line of strong storms streatching from Sarnia to Waterloo moved through the region.
The weather agency says severe weather is no longer a threat to the area at this time.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
