Sarnia Teen Charged After Break And Enter

A 17-year-old is facing charges after police responded to a break and enter in progress in Plympton-Wyoming.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday evening, a witness discovered that a door to a building in the 3000-block of Michigan Line was open.  After checking the second floor, the witness found someone inside.

Police say the intruder fled the scene before officers arrived at around 9pm.  With the help of the OPP Canine Unit, officers were able to track down a suspect matching the intruder's description.

A 17-year-old male from Sarnia has been charged with break and enter and failing to comply with a recognizance. His identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
