Bluewater Borderfest gets underway Friday evening at Centennial Park.
Friday's country acts will be Frankie Ballard, Chase Bryant, James Barker Band, and Sarnia's own Eric Ethridge who has been climbing the charts lately.
Saturdays line-up is Brett Kissel, Dylan Scott, Aaron Goodvin and Dan Davidson. Scott's "My Girl" is currently atop the U.S. Country charts.
Kissel was recently named male artist of the year and the fan's choice at the Canadian Country Music Association's awards.
Borderfest spokesperson Mark Perrin is excited to bring a concert back to Centennial Park.
Doors open at 5pm each night, and the first acts go on the stage at 6:30pm.
"The stage is up and lights and a lot of people have been by the park and just are impressed with the size of the stage it's huge and definitely going to be able to support these artists," says Perrin.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.BluewaterBorderFest.com, at Stokes Inland in Sarnia, BadDog Bar and Grill in Corunna, or Crabby Joe's in Petrolia, as well as at the event.
Any money made will be shared between five local charities.
