Daytime Break And Enter In Brooke-Alvinston

Lambton OPP are looking for two suspects following a daytime break and enter in Brooke-Alvinston Thursday.

A witness notified police of a suspicious male seen removing a window screen and breaking the window at a home in the 3000-block of Walnut St. just before 7:30am.

Police say a short time later the suspect was seen leaving in a vehicle with a female passenger.

The suspect vehicle was found abandoned in a bean field in the 2800-block of Cameron Rd.

The OPP Canine Unit and the Emergency Response Team were called in but were unable to find either suspect.

The vehicle has been seized for examination by the OPP Forensic Identification Services.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspects is asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
