Arkona Appliances moved into its new location at 1437 London Rd. at the beginning of June, a little over a month after Grev Martin retired and closed St. Clair Audio Video.
Owner Bob Mitchell says it was a natural fit.
"It was an established business and somewhere that people knew," says Mitchell. "It has a lot more parking, a lot more warehouse and retail space, along with a bigger showroom. It was a good fit from our store on Lambton Mall Rd."
The location offers 6,000 sq ft of space, which includes 4,000 sq ft of retail space.
Arkona Appliances employs ten people, five in Sarnia and five at their original location in Arkona, and has been in business for 35 years.
