Two Crashes On Christina St. Tuesday

There were a pair of crashes on Christina St. in Tuesday's wet weather.

Just before 8am, Sarnia police say a man was driving a vehicle north on Christina St., just south of Cromwell St., when he lost control and sideswiped a southbound vehicle.

A 57-year-old Sarnia man has been charged with careless driving and driving while under suspension.

Around 1:30pm, a vehicle travelling northbound on Christina St. collided with another travelling eastbound on Nelson St.

The eastbound driver, a 75-year-old Sarnia man, has been charged with failing to yield to traffic on a tghrough highway.

No injuries were reported in either crash.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
