Sting Win Sixth Straight

Brady Hinz scored two goals and an assist for the Sting. Jordan Kyrou, Adam Ruzicka, Sean Josling, Drake Rymsha, Anthony Salinitri and Hugo Leufvenius also scored in an 8-1 victory over Mississauga.

Sarnia goalie Justin Fazio stopped 26 of 27 shots. The Sting had 31 shots on the Steelhead's combination of Jacob Ingham and Emmanuel Vella.

Sarnia remains in second place in the OHL's West Division, one point back of Sault Ste. Marie, with a game in hand on the Greyhounds. The Sault edged Kitchener 3-2 Friday.

Windsor's a point shy of the Sting following a 2-1 win over London. The Knights are 1-8-0-0 on the season.

The Sting go for their seventh win in a row Saturday at 7pm when they host Guelph.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
