An eight game winning streak has propelled the Sarnia Sting into second place in the latest Canadian Hockey League Top-10 Rankings.
The 9-1-0-0 Sting lead the Ontario Hockey League with 51 goals scored, and have allowed a league-low 25 against.
The Sting has had a balanced scoring attack this season, with six players having reached double digit points.
Adam Ruzicka leads the way with 15 points, while Brady Hinz has scored a team-high nine goals.
Goalie Justin Fazio has put up impressive numbers this year, compiling a 7-1-0-0 record with a 2.45 goals against average and .927 save percentage.
The Portland Winterhawks (8-1-0-0) are ranked first in the CHL. Swift Current, Quebec, and Victoria round out the top five.
Sault St. Marie, Owen Sound and Peterborough are the other OHL teams included in the Top-10.
The Sting returns to the ice for a three game Northern Ontario road trip this weekend.
They have a stop in North Bay on Thursday, before heading to Sudbury and Barrie on Friday and Saturday respectively.
