Nearly 20 Speeding Tickets In 90 Minutes

It was like shooting fish in a barrel for provincial police in Lambton County on Saturday afternoon.

Lambton OPP issued 19 speeding tickets during an hour and a half span on the Hwy. 402.

Police say a majority of those tickets were for vehicles driving 130 km/h in a 100 km/h zone, although there were three vehicles that were travelling more than 40 km/h above the posted speed limit.

The Ontario Provincial Police say they will continue to strategically enforce the "Big Four" traffic offences -- aggressive driving, distracted driving, impaired driving and failing to use a seat belt.
