Break-In Suspect Caught In The Act

A 19-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and charged with break and enter after police allegedly caught him in the act Wednesday.

Lambton OPP were called to investigate a daytime break and enter on Charlemont Line in St. Clair Township around 12:15pm.

Officers allegedly observed the suspect exiting a rural building, and when they moved in to make an arrest he was allegedly found with stolen property and a replica pellet pistol.

He was being held for a bail hearing Thursday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
