Donations Needed For 'Coats For Kids'

Blackburn Radio's annual "Coats for Kids" campaign is underway.

Marketing Director Aaron Zimmer says donations of all winter wear will be accepted until Tuesday, October 31.

He says they're accepting gently used winter coats, boots, mitts, gloves and scarves for all ages.

"We tend to get a little less for teenagers," says Zimmer. "People think its all about the little kids and maybe some adult stuff, but it's those teenagers in the middle that could really use some stuff as well."

You can drop off your donations at Blackburn Radio, 1415 London Rd. in Sarnia. A full list of drop off locations is posted here.

Distribution will be held at the Goodwill on Michigan Ave. Friday, November 3 from 5:30 to 8:30pm.
