Driver Seriously Injured In Crash Involving Tractor

One person is in hospital after a serious two-vehicle crash involving a farm tractor south of Forest.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday around 6:50pm, a farm tractor travelling north on Forest Rd. was struck from behind by a passenger vehicle.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was rushed to hospital with serious, life threatening injuries. It is unknown if the driver of the tractor sustained any injuries.

Police have closed Forest Rd. between Aberarder Line and Chalk Line while officers conduct an investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
