Man Injured In Crash Dies

Lambton OPP now say the driver of a car that slammed into the back of a farm tractor Wednesday has died.

Police say 48-year-old Russell John Hierons of Lambton-Shores died in hospital Thursday morning as a result of the collision.

OPP say he was driving a passenger vehicle north on Forest Rd., when he hit the back of a farm tractor between Aberarder and Chalk Lines in Plympton Township.

The crash happened around 6:50pm.

The investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
