Take A Bite Out Of Hunger

Friday, November 3 is World Sandwich Day.

Subway believes no one should go hungry, so when you buy a sandwich and drink on Friday, you'll get another free sandwich and Subway will donate a meal to Food Banks Canada.

The Inn of the Good Shepherd will have volunteers at all ten local Subways until 7pm, accepting donations, of which local owners will match in the "Take A Bite Out Of Hunger" initiative.

It’s hoped the event will raise $10,000 towards services and programs at The Inn.

Over the last five years, the fundraiser has collected close to $50,000.

Subway restaurants include London Rd., Confederation St., Bright's Grove, London Line, Cathcart Blvd. Christina St. and Corunna.
