BizPal Launched For Small Business Owners

Life for Sarnia's small business owners is getting a whole lot easier.

They now have access to BizPal which is a free, one stop, online business permit and licence service available 24/7.

The goal is to save entrepreneurs time, and eliminate red tape that comes with the traditional paper method.

Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Shirley de Silva says it's a great idea and will be a big help.

"Challenges always come into play when business owners have to go to numerous different departments or different people for information," says de Silva. "By having this sort of one stop shop solution, it certainly streamlines things and makes things easier for small businesses."

The government says small and medium-sized businesses are the foundation of the economy and make up 99 per cent of all businesses in Canada.

BizPal is now available in 142 communities across Ontario.

Visit www.bizpal.ca for further information.
