Christmas Tree Placed At City Hall

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Sarnia City Hall.

A giant blue spruce, donated by the Yates family on Cobblestone Cres., arrived Wednesday.

The tree was transported to city hall from Sherwood Village on a flatbed truck donated by Brandon Contracting and then placed by Atkco Crane free of charge.

Sarnia's parks and recreation forestry crew helped secure the tree with cables in the fountain area at City Hall.

Residents can submit their trees as prospective candidates to save the cost of removing the tree themselves.
