Vehicle Stolen From GTA Recovered In Sarnia

Three suspects were arrested after Sarnia police recovered a stolen vehicle early Sunday morning.

Just before midnight Sunday, officers spotted a white Chrysler Town and Country mini-van in the driveway of a familiar Nelson St. home.

Police say a records check confirmed the vehicle had been stolen in the York Region, possibly by a suspect armed with a gun.

A short time later the vehicle left the home and was stopped by police.

The driver along with two passengers were arrested and police say a firearm was not located.

A 28-year-old-man, a 29-year-old female and a 43-year-old man, all of Sarnia, are charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000.
