Drugs, Weapons Seized From Sarnia Home

Four people are facing drug charges after Sarnia police executed a search warrant in the 100-block of Gordon St. Wednesday evening.

Vice Unit officers entered the home around 7:20pm and had to force their way into a highly fortified basement door.

Once inside, they found cocaine in plain view, along with pepper spray and a flashlight taser.

Officers then searched this area and seized the following suspected controlled substances:

· 4.7 grams of cocaine, which has an approximate street value of $470 · 5.0 grams of Crystal methamphetamine, which has an approximate street value of $500 · 20 units of liquid methamphetamine, which has a street value of $20 · Four codeine pills, which have an approximate street value of $20

The total street value of the drugs is about $1,110. Police also confiscated $1,715 in cash.

32-year-old Jessica Lea Babo, 36-year-old Mandy Anita Desloges, 27-year-old Kimberly Ann Noble, and 35-year-old Derrick Michael Peachy are all charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Peachy is also charged with two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.

All three women were released on a recognizance of bail, while Peachy had a bail hearing scheduled for Friday.
