Snowy Return To School

Snow for the back to school commute in southern Ontario on Monday has forced school buses to stay parked. Buses in all zones, 1 through 8, are cancelled.

Snowfall totals will average about 10 cm, with higher amounts to the northeast of the Great Lakes.

Untreated roads were slippery during the Monday morning commute. Sarnia-Lambton was under a brief freezing rain warning late Sunday night which ended just after midnight Monday.

Ploughing and salting operations in Sarnia will continue until road conditions improve.

Motorists are advised to slow down and drive accordingly.
