Freezing Cold Bursts Pipes At Hospital

Repairs are underway at Bluewater Health in Sarnia and Petrolia.

Both hospital sites have experienced burst water pipes in recent days due to the extreme cold temperatures.

While repairs are made, the public is asked to use the staff entrance off Russell St. at the Sarnia site. Repairs at the main entrance are expected to wrap up by January 29.

At CEE hospital in Petrolia, Laboratory Services have been impacted. Patients with non-urgent tests are asked to wait until repairs are finished to go in for their lab work.

Repairs at that site are expected to be completed by January 22.

Bluewater Health says all services continue to be available at both sites.
