Mall On The Hunt For New Tenants

Now that the Sarnia Sears location is officially closed, Lambton Mall is looking to breathe some new life into the space.

Property Manager Laura Beecroft says they're looking at different options for the space including several smaller tenants or another large anchor store.

"All of those are possibilities of course but really one large anchor tenant like Sears, I don't see that coming to this market," says Beecroft. "Be patient, there will be some downtime but there are some exciting options out there and we're excited to be a part of the evolution of what could happen in the old Sears space and bring some additional life into Lambton Mall."

Beecroft says the leasing and development team is also actively exploring options for the soon to be vacant Tepperman's location at the mall.

The store is moving to its new location on London Rd. by early May.
