Walker Pleads Guilty To Manslaughter In White Death

Amelia Walker pled guilty to manslaughter in criminal court in Sarnia on Monday in the 2016 death of Raymond Thomas White.

The 32-year-old Walker was initially charged with second-degree murder but pled guilty to the lesser charge.

White’s body was found in a unit in a single storey row house in the 400-block of Kathleen Ave., in the early morning hours of April 19, 2016.

He was pronounced dead in hospital.

Walker will be back in court for sentencing on March 26.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
