Info Session At Lambton College

Those looking to further their education will have a chance to see what Lambton College has to offer.

The school is hosting an info session Wednesday, January 17 from 4pm until 6pm. Those in attendance will be able to speak to enrollment advisors, faculty and staff about programs and services at Lambton.

Spokesperson Cindy Buchanan says the college provides avenues for just about anyone.

"[We have programs for students] looking to come to college, those looking to go to university and come back to college, and those looking to come to college and go to university to follow," she says.

Buchanan says it's quite common for university bound students in the community to come to Lambton College to get a diploma before heading to university.

"It gives them a whole bunch of time to perhaps stay at home, live in their own community longer, save some money and then move on following their graduation," she says.

Buchanan mentioned how the technology programs the school offers feed very nicely into NOVA Chemicals -- the expansion of the plant will lead to 150 full-time jobs once it's complete.

Those who are unable to attend the info session can book a program advising session with the college's enrolment team. Campus tours are also available every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 2pm and the last Thursday of the month at 6pm.

The equal consideration deadline for application's is February 1.
