Child Care Spaces Coming To Holy Trinity

Parents living near Holy Trinity Catholic School will have a new place to bring their little ones come spring time.

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has teamed up with London Bridge Child Care to add 39 new child care spaces at the Sarnia elementary school.

Thanks to $534,421 in funding from the province, two classes at Holy Trinity have been retrofitted for 24 pre-school spaces and 15 toddler spaces. They've also added fencing to create an outdoor play space, additional storage and an extra washroom.

School board Executive Superintendent Amy Janssens says this addition will benefit many families in the area.

"London Bridge and other child care providers are great partners for us," she says. "The children in the school are welcome and they become part of our school communities."

The spaces are expected to open in mid-spring 2018.

Anyone interested in the child care service can call London Bridge at 519-337-8668.
