OPP Canine Unit Tracks Down Suspects

The OPP Canine Unit tracked down two suspects in Enniskillen Township who allegedly had fled from police early Saturday morning.

Just after 2am, Lambton OPP tried to stop a suspicious vehicle with unlawful licence plates attached, but it sped off.

The vehicle was later found abandoned in the 3000-block of Aberfeldy Line.

The driver and passenger were located and arrested with the help of the canine unit.

Jonathan Christian Clark, 24, is charged with flight while pursued by police, possession of a narcotic and failing to comply with a probation order. Cody Robert Griggs, 25, is charged with possession of a narcotic.

The men, both of Enniskillen Township, are to appear in Sarnia court March 7, 2018.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
